Good to know
Your ad budget is paid by you directly to Google or Meta. My fee is only the agreed percentage of conversion value.
What counts as conversion value?
A conversion is a sale, booking or enquiry that comes from your ads. Its value is recorded in Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager through the tracking I set up for free.
Online shops
The conversion value is the order value of each sale tracked from your ads. A £120 order brings a fee of between £3.60 and £8.40, depending on the agreed rate.
Service and local businesses
If your ads bring calls, enquiries or bookings, we agree a fixed value per lead or booking before launch. For example, if a booked appointment is worth £80 to you, each booking from the ads counts as £80 of conversion value.
What decides your exact percentage
We agree the rate in writing before launch. These are the things that move it within the range.
Your average sale or customer value
Higher-value sales usually mean a lower percentage.
Your profit margins
The rate has to leave you a healthy profit on every conversion.
Campaign complexity
Many products, locations or channels take more work to manage well.
Pay-on-results vs a typical retainer
Many agencies charge a fixed monthly fee. Here is how my model is different.
| Item | Typical retainer | Working with me |
|---|---|---|
| Setup fee | Often charged up front | £0 |
| Monthly fee | Fixed retainer, whether ads work or not | £0 |
| Fee is based on | Hours worked or a % of ad spend | 3–7% of conversion value |
| If the ads don't convert | You still pay the retainer | You pay me nothing |
| What I'm rewarded for | Managing more budget | Bringing you profitable sales |

Pricing questions
Is the setup really free?
Yes. I set up your Google Ads or Meta Ads campaigns at no cost: conversion tracking, keyword or audience research, ad copy, campaign structure and launch. You don't pay me a fee until the ads bring in conversions.
How much do you charge?
Between 3% and 7% of the conversion value your campaigns generate. The exact percentage depends on your industry, average order value and margins, and we agree it in writing before launch.
What counts as conversion value?
The value of the sales or leads your ads bring in, tracked in Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager. For online shops it is the order value. For service businesses that get enquiries or bookings, we agree a fixed value per lead or booking before launch.
Is my advertising budget included?
Your ad budget is paid by you directly to Google or Meta. My fee is only the agreed percentage of conversion value.
What happens if the ads don't bring results?
Then you don't pay me a fee. Your ad budget still goes to Google or Meta, but because I only earn when your campaigns convert, my goal is the same as yours: more profitable sales, not more spend.
How is my rate within 3–7% decided?
It depends on your average order or customer value, your margins and how complex the campaigns are. Businesses with higher-value sales usually sit at the lower end of the range. We agree your rate in writing before launch, so there are no surprises.
Do you take a cut of sales that didn't come from the ads?
No. My fee only applies to conversions recorded by the Google Ads or Meta Ads campaigns I manage for you, not to your other sales.
Is there a minimum ad budget?
It depends on your market and competition. On the free strategy call I'll recommend a starting budget that gives the campaigns enough data to learn, and you decide what you're comfortable with.
